Shadab Khan's stellar performance in the PSL marks a historic moment for Pakistani cricket, as he becomes the first player to achieve the impressive feat of scoring 300 runs and taking 10 or more wickets in a single season.

Under the exceptional leadership of Pakistan Test skipper Shadab Khan, Islamabad United clinched victory in PSL 2024 solidifying their status as the most successful franchise in PSL history with three titles. 

This triumph marks their first championship since their win under the leadership of Misbah Ul Haq in 2018. Shadab Khan's extraordinary all-round abilities and astute captaincy played a pivotal role in securing this historic achievement for Islamabad United.

Shadab Khan was rightfully awarded the Man of the Series title for his outstanding performance in this season's PSL. 

Shadab Khan's performance was nothing short of exceptional, as he showcased his batting prowess by scoring 305 runs at a remarkable strike rate of 142.52, with three impressive half-centuries to his name. 

Additionally, his bowling skills were on full display as he clinched 14 crucial wickets throughout the season, playing a crucial role in his team's success. 

He becomes the first Pakistani cricketer and the third overall to achieve the milestone of scoring over 300 runs and taking 10 wickets in a single PSL season.

In the 2016 season, while playing for Karachi Kings, Ravi Bopara made history by scoring an impressive total of 329 runs and claiming 11 wickets, making him the first player to achieve this remarkable feat. 

In the 2018 season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Shane Watson who recently said no to become Pakistan national team coach achieved this feat while playing for Quetta Gladiators. He scored a total of 319 runs in 10 matches at an impressive average.

Shadab Khan emerged as the game-changer for his team on the grand stage, delivering a standout performance in the final match. 

With an impressive bowling display, he claimed three crucial wickets while conceding only 32 runs. Shadab's pivotal dismissals included Multan's captain Mohammad Rizwan, the top scorer of the final Usman Khan, who had notched a half-century, and Usama Mir.
