The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are gearing up for a monumental start to their IPL 2024 campaign after a stunning victory by RCB (Women) in the Women's Premier League (WPL).

Ahead of their opening clash against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on March 22, RCB hosted a spectacular RCB Unbox event at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The event witnessed the presence of cricketing stalwarts Virat Kohli and Smriti Mandhana, along with electrifying performances by Alan Walker, Raghu Dixit, and Neeti Mohan.

Virat Kohli, expressing his aspirations for the upcoming season, lauded the RCB (Women) team for their triumph in the WPL.

Kohli emphasized the desire to replicate their success and secure a double trophy win in IPL 2024, aiming to achieve this feat for the first time in franchise history. 

"Hopefully we can double it up with the trophies. That'll be something truly special. I am always going to be here, and try to be part of the group that wins it for the first time. I will try my best with my ability and experience to do it for the fans and the franchise. It is a dream of mine as well to know what it feels like to win the IPL," said Kohli.

Kohli, visibly focused and determined, was seen honing his batting skills during intense practice sessions ahead of the much-anticipated clash against CSK.

RCB (Women) clinched their maiden WPL title with a historic victory over Delhi Capitals this past Sunday in Delhi.

The men's team, led by Faf du Plessis, is set to commence their IPL 2024 journey with high expectations following the women's team's success. Scheduled to play five matches in the initial phase of the tournament, RCB aims to make their mark early in the season.

The excitement among fans is palpable as RCB seeks to double their trophy count in IPL 2024, fueled by the recent triumph of the women's team. 

With Virat Kohli's words and determination, RCB fans are hopeful of witnessing their team lift the coveted trophy and create history in the upcoming season.
