Every glimpse of Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill together at the field feels like a look into the future, a look of the next generation that will don the Indian blues and the billion hopes that come with it. It is safe to say that the King and his prince are the apple of the eyes of all the cricket fans and a proof of it is a video doing rounds on social media where fans are seen excitedly cheering.

In a clipping shared online on Twitter, shows the two training together at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York. The two are seen taking a lap together while sharing smiles.

Shubman Gill arrived over a week ago with the Indian contingent in the USA. The 35-year-old stunner, left for the USA along with his wife, Anushka Sharma and joined his teammates only recently.

While Shubman Gill's struggling form saw him miss out on making it to the T20 World Cup squad,he is travelling with Team India as a travelling reserve along with Rinku SIngh, Khaleel Ahmed and Avesh Khan. On the other hand, Virat Kohli has had a fantastic IPL 2024 season,  the leading run-scorer has amassed 741 runs in 15 games.

Meanwhile, India will begin their T20 World Cup campaign on June 5 against Ireland followed by the much-awaited India vs Pakistan clash in New York on 9 June (Sunday)
