Bangladesh's T20 World Cup campaign might be in jeopardy as during their warm-up game against India in New York, Shoriful Islam, a key member of their bowling arsenal seemingly injured his fingers in the last over and had to walk off the field immediately.

Shoriful Islam walked off the field after stopping a hard smash off Pandya's bat in the final over.  It is clearly a very disappointing situation for him as well as his team, as he walked off the field in some pain. The physiotherapist tightly held onto his finger that unfortunately got hit by the ball. He was then replaced by Tanzim Hasan.

This puts his teams campaign in danger as he definitely is a skillful bowler that bowls stupendously well with the new ball. He even picked up the wicket of Sanju Samson.

Shoriful Islam injured, walks off the field

Talking about the first innings, Bangladesh managed to restrict India for 182 runs. Shoriful provided his team with the first breakthrough as he sent Sanju Samson packing for just one run. Then Mahmudullah Riyad dismissed Rohit Sharma for 23 runs. 

India's wicket-keeper-batter Rishabh Pant looked in sublime form as he scored a fifty and retired out. Shivam Dube looked in good touch however was dismissed by Mahedi Hasan for just 14 runs off 16 balls. However, Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya's cameo then helped India further boost their total.
