Ahead of the white-ball tour against Sri Lanka, India's star batter KL Rahul was seen sweating it out in the nets. 

India will play against Sri Lanka starting the T20I series on July 27, while KL Rahul has been picked for the ODI series commencing on August 2 at the R Premadasa Stadium.

A video shared by KL Rahul on his social media showcased his batting prowess. In the clip, he was seen executing a powerful hook shot followed by a straight lofted shot.

Fans, thrilled by his form, expressed their excitement with comments like, "Can't wait for your comeback, Champ."

KL Rahul was last seen in action in the Indian Premier League (IPL), playing for Lucknow Super Giants. He had an impressive season, amassing 520 runs in 14 innings at a strike rate of 136.13. 

In international cricket, Rahul's most recent appearance was during the India vs. England Test series, where he scored 108 runs in two innings.

As KL Rahul gears up for his return, Rohit Sharma will be leading the Indian side. Both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will be back in action after taking a break following India's T20 World Cup triumph and their subsequent retirement from T20Is.
