In a significant blow to the West Indies team, Jeremiah Louis has been ruled out of the third and final Test match against England due to injury.

The match is scheduled to start on July 26 at Edgbaston, Birmingham. Louis' absence has led to the inclusion of Akeem Jordan, an uncapped pacer, who has been in the UK this summer.

The 29-year-old pacer boasts an impressive First-Class record, having taken 67 wickets in 19 innings at an economy rate of 3.04. His replacement, Akeem Jordan, has also shown promising form, scalping 151 wickets in 57 innings at an economy of 3.06.

The West Indies team is already facing a tough series, having suffered back-to-back defeats against mighty England. The hosts lead 2-0, with a 241-run win in the second match and a 114-run victory in the first match.

With Louis' injury, the West Indies' chances of avoiding a whitewash seem bleak. However, Jordan's inclusion may bring some fresh energy to the team, and they will be hoping for a better performance in the final Test.
