KL Rahul, the charismatic right-hander batter is likely to leave Lucknow Super Giants ahead of IPL 2025, and might be seen leading Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the next season of the marquee league according to a report from Sportskeeda.

KL Rahul was Lucknow Super Giants skipper from IPL 2022 to IPL 2024, but his relation with the franchise owner has been a matter of debate since the time the two were seen in an intense conversation after a loss in IPL 2024.

Along with leading LSG, KL Rahul also has the experience of leading Punjab Kings in the IPL and has captaincy experience at the international level too. His addition to RCB will be a welcome move both for the batter and the franchise, as he is a Bengaluru local boy and has been associated with the franchise earlier in his career.
