In a heartwarming moment that showcased his spiritual side and bond with family, Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya was seen singing a Krishna Bhajan with his brother Krunal Pandya and their family at a Kirtan event organised at home amid the hustle and bustle of the IPL 2024 season. 

Hardik Pandya’s life turned upside down when he chose to return to Mumbai Indians in an all-cash trade. The initial euphoria of a reunion soon turned into a nightmare after MI replaced five-time IPL-winning captain Rohit Sharma to announce Pandya as the next-gen future.

Since then, Hardik Pandya has become a subject of evil criticism and heavy trolling. The crowd boos haven’t stopped, and the home fans turned against him, which naturally must be causing deep mental stress to the 30-year-old all-rounder.

That being said, taking a break from the mad circus, Hardik Pandya evoked his spiritual side and hosted Krishna Sankirtan at home. Hardik, with his brother Krunal, and the entire Pandya family were seen chanting ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’ bhajan with pure enthusiasm in a video uploaded on social media.

For Hardik Pandya, the opportunity to sing a devotional song alongside his loved ones provided a welcome respite from the rigours of professional cricket and offered a chance to reflect on the deeper aspects of life beyond the boundaries of the cricket field. 

At a time of crisis, such moments of tranquillity and togetherness serve as a source of strength and rejuvenation for players. Spiritual events often help to bring peace and calmness, two things the MI captain desperately needs at the moment.

That being said, Hardik Pandya will be back in action tomorrow against RCB at Wankhede Stadium.
