In a heartwarming gesture of sportsmanship, ex-CSK captain MS Dhoni presented an autographed bat to Afghanistan opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz following a clash between CSK and KKR in the IPL 2024 season.

Chennai Super Kings halted Kolkata Knight Riders' undefeated run in IPL 2024 by handing them a seven-wicket brutal loss yesterday in Chennai.

Batting first, KKR had no clue of the conditions and collapsed to Ravindra Jadeja's majestic spell. 

Meanwhile, CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad led the team from the front with a 58 ball 67 runs inning as CSK chased down the lowly total of 139 runs with 14 balls to spare.

That being said, after the game, KKR reserve wicket-keeper and Afghanistan explosive opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz approached MS Dhoni with a request for a signed bat to preserve the memento as a lifetime memory.

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni, known for his humility and generosity, obliged Gurbaz's request and offered him a brand new bat embedded with his autograph and a sweet message wishing the wicket-keeper luck for the future.
