Young Indian cricketer Nitish Kumar Reddy rose to fame following his impressive all-round show in Sunrisers Hyderabad's ongoing IPL 2024 clash against Punjab Kings. 

After bailing his team out of trouble with a stupendous 37-ball 64, Reddy showcased his bowling prowess, bagging the prized scalp of Jitesh Sharma in the second half. 

The incident occurred during the 16th over of Punjab's innings when SRH captain Pat Cummins brought Reddy back into the attack to break the budding stand between Jitesh and the previous game's hero, Shashank Singh. 

The move worked wonders for the visitors, as the right-arm medium pacer got rid of Jitesh, who was looking in rhythm. 

After conceding a six on his second delivery, Reddy bowled a slower short ball, as Jitesh tried to muscle it over the square leg fence. However, the Vidarbha batter couldn't time it properly, with Abhishek Sharma's sensational running catch bringing an end to his brief cameo. 

Despite losing Jitesh, Shashank Singh continued his onslaught on the Orange Army at one end. Ashutosh Sharma also played a blinder, smacking 33 runs off 15 deliveries. However, their valiant efforts went in vain as the Sunrisers emerged victorious by a narrow two-run margin.
