The match 33 of IPL 2024 between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians turned out to be one roller-coaster ride with MI coming out on top in the final over. The emotions and tensions were running high throughout the game, and one such moment was when Akash Madhwal was getting ready to bowl the final over of the match with Punjab Kings needing 12 runs to win.

There was mini-conference with the bowler 5-6 Mumbai players including the likes of Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma, Bumrah talking to Madhwal and chalking out plans. 

A video has also gone viral on social media where Akash Madhwal is seen getting advice from both Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya. Madhwal though seem to be listening to only Rohit with tension on faces of all three quite evident. 

It was a discussion around field placement for the all-important final over and the video ends with Madhwal conveying his preferred field setting to Rohit with Hardik Pandya trying to convey his choice, without getting much attention from Rohit and Madhwal.

Nevertheless, Madhwal and Mumbai Indians more importantly got it right in the last over, as Rabada was run out on the first legal ball, and MI went onto win the game by 9 runs. It was a much-needed win for the five-time champions as they climbed to number 7 spot over GT, while Punjab Kings are languishing at the 9th position with just two wins in seven matches.
