In a recent match between Washington Freedom and Los Angeles Knight Riders, Glenn Maxwell displayed a 'kind gesture' as he gifted his Man of the Match award to a fan in the crowd and also signed an autograph for him in the Major Cricket League (MCL) match on Sunday, July 14, 2024.

In a recent video that is going viral on the internet, all-rounder, Glenn Maxwell gifted a huge box to a fan after the match.

The Aussie cricketer did not bat in the game but scalped wickets of Shakib-Al-Hasan, Nitish Kumar and Andre Russell. The highlight of his performance was he took a running catch to dismiss Ali Khan.

Talking about the match, Washington Freedom defeated Los Angeles Knight Riders by eight wickets to register their third consecutive victory of the 2024 Cognizant Major League Cricket at Church Street Park, Morrisville on Sunday.

With significant contributions from Washington’s Saurabh Netravalkar (4/35) and Glenn Maxwell (3/15) with the ball, restricted Los Angeles Knight Riders were to 129/10. 

 In the second innings, a hard-hitting and impactful knock from Travis Head (54) and a composed and well-constructed innings from Steven Smith (42*), helped the Washington Freedom romp home with four overs to spare.
