India's new T20I captain Shubman Gill, who is in charge due to the seniors' absence, will be in action on July 6, when they will take on Zimbabwe in their own backyard in their first of the five-match series in Harare.

Apart from Gill, there are many promising youngsters, such as Abhishek Sharma, Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, and Ravi Bishnoi among many others, who will look forward to proving themselves before they set their bunch for the upcoming T20 World Cup event, which will be played in India and Sri Lanka in just two years.

Abhishek, Parag, Gill Take Insipiration From Rohit, Kohli

In a video posted by BCCI, many Indian youngsters, led by skipper Gill, talked about how they felt India won the T20 World Cup in Barbados, and how they took inspiration from their redemption following the ODI World Cup heartbreak last year.

Among them, Abhishek Sharma's comments made many headlines, as he revealed he witnessed the game alongside one of the 2007 and 2011 successful Cup-campaign hero, Yuvraj Singh.

Who will fill the shoes of Rohit and Kohli in the times to come? Well, only time will tell.
