In a heartwarming video meant to extend best wishes, WPL winner and RCB-W all-rounder Ellyse Perry expressed how she is rooting for RCB this IPL season and called them the most deserving winners of the title trophy.

What the men's team couldn't do in 16 years, RCB's women's team pulled it off in a mere two WPL seasons. RCB-W won WPL's second edition last week to mark the franchise's first-ever title trophy win.

Ellyse Perry, legendary Australian all-rounder, played a vital role in the title dream. Her heroics in the final league game, the eliminator, and finals helped RCB-W outclass oppositions.

Having said that, ahead of the impending IPL season, Ellyse Perry sent her best wishes to the men's team. In a heartwarming video message, Perry remarked that with the kind of history RCB has had over the past decade, they deserve to win a title.

Moreover, with RCB-W's WPL win, the men's squad has the momentum required to break the trophy jinx. Perry further expressed how momentous it would be for Bengaluru fans if both the men's and women's teams could win the title in a single calendar year.

Ellyse Perry concluded the message by confirming her support for the team with the famous  'Ee Sala Cup Namdu' phrase.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru have gone 16 years without an IPL title win. Despite boasting a formidable lineup, the team fell short of the ultimate dream by the barest of margins on a couple of occasions.

Having said that, with the new year and fresh energy, RCB would hopefully put up a good show to give it back to the passionate fanbase who historically left no stone unturned in backing the team unconditionally.
