[Watch] Dhoni Sprints With Vintage Speed As Anirudh Sizzles With 'Aaluma Doluma'

The IPL is back and MS Dhoni too, and the first game for CSK in IPL 2025 is a blockbuster encounter against Mumbai Indians. This season, every opening game of the venue has an opening ceremony and so, the Chepauk also lit up with some scintillating dance and singing performances.

Chepauk Gets Entertained By Chartbuster Aaluma Doluma

One of the performances was from Anirudh Ravichander, the famous music composer and singer and he entertained everyone with his famous 'Aaluma Doluma' song. However, unlike other opening ceremonies, the one at the CSK home ground did not stop players from practicing on the ground.

As a result, MS Dhoni was also doing his drills, and was seen sprinting with great intensity when Anirudha was singing his song. It was a sprint that was welcomed by fans with great joy as they brought out a big roar.

After the opening ceremony, CSK skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and decided to bowl first and his bowlers did a perfect job. They grabbed wickets at regular intervals and it was the young leg-spinner, Noor Ahmed who broke the backbone of Mumbai Indians' batting line-up.

Khaleel Ahmed though set the tone and took two early wickets and the sea of Yellove has been jumping with joy right from the their arrival at the ground. Both the teams are five-time IPL champions, and have made some interesting changes for this season. Hardik Pandya is the captain of MI for the season, but he was missed badly on the batting front in the opening match because of his one-match ban.
