Tripathi's ability to innovate and execute unorthodox shots has always been a highlight of his game, and fans are eager to see him bring this flair to CSK's batting lineup. 

The net session footage not only highlighted Tripathi's technical skills but also his enthusiasm and energy, which was earlier seen in footages of Dhoni and Ashwin joining the CSK camp.

Rahul Tripathi's IPL Career

Rahul Tripathi, one of CSK's latest acquisitions, bought for a sum of INR 3.40 crore at the IPL 2025 mega auction brings a wealth of experience to the team. Tripathi's journey in the IPL began with Rajasthan Royals and then he moved to Kolkata Knight Riders, and Sunrisers Hyderabad showcasing his adaptability and scoring prowess.

Rahul Tripathi's IPL career has been marked by consistent performances and his subsequent stints with Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders further cemented his reputation as a reliable middle-order batter. 

In 2020, Tripathi played a crucial role in Kolkata Knight Riders' run to the final. His move to Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2022 saw him continue his form, scoring 413 runs in his first season. This wealth of experience will undoubtedly benefit CSK as they navigate the challenges with a packed IPL schedule.
