The five-time IPL champions and one of the most successful teams in the tournament, Chennai Super Kings, have finally acquired the players for IPL 2025. 

In the auction, CSK had a maximum of 20 spots to fill with a purse size of INR 55 Cr. Notably, all the IPL franchises were allowed to have a purse size of INR 120 Cr for this year's auction. The Chennai Super Kings retained five of their players from the previous year and spent INR 65 Cr for it.
