Pakistan's consecutive losses in the T20 World Cup 2024 have placed significant pressure on their captain, Babar Azam. He is facing heavy trolling from fans due to his slow knocks. After the loss versus India, fans greeted him with the infamous 'Zimbabar' chants.

Babar Azam returned as Pakistan's T20I captain earlier this year, replacing Shaheen Afridi. However, his  second tenure has been challenging so far.

Pakistan struggled against New Zealand's second team at home, lost a match to Ireland, and was defeated by England in a series on home soil.

In the T20 World Cup, the situation worsened for Babar. Pakistan was beaten by the USA and subsequently lost to India. Now the pressure on Babar Azam is intensifying.

As Babar Azam approached the team bus with his luggage with other teammates, Babar was greeted by the infamous 'Zimbabar' chants. Frustrated, he dropped his luggage near the bus and got inside.

Babar Azam is currently struggling to find his best form. After a slow innings against the USA, where he scored 44 off 43 balls, he failed against India, getting out to Bumrah after scoring just 13 runs.

Pakistan failed to win against the co-hosts, the USA and they couldn't chase 120 versus India. Pakistan now faces group round elimination if they fail to beat Canada tomorrow.
