Afridi said that chasing 120 runs in 120 balls should have been an easy target for the Pakistan batters, and he believes India was 35-40 runs short of a competitive total.

He criticized the mindset that relies on Pakistani bowlers to win games while the batters fail to contribute significantly.

 "Why? Because we [Pakistan] always blame the bowlers for not restricting teams to small totals. Our mindset has been set so that we just don’t want to score," Afridi said.

Afridi also expressed his pessimism about Pakistan's chances in the T20 World Cup, given their current form and recent results.

"We [Pakistan] failed to score such a total with such a strong batting line-up. I have no words. All I have is disappointment," Afridi added.

The Pakistan cricket team still has a chance to qualify for the Super 8s if they win their remaining matches against Canada and Ireland, and if other results go in their favor.

Pakistan's next game is against Canada, which is a do or die game for them.
