The Delhi-born batter played a vital knock of 51 runs off 47 balls. He anchored the innings after RCB suffered a shaky start at 26/3 in just four overs. Kohli’s composed presence at the crease steadied the innings and kept the crowd thoroughly engaged.

Kohli was exceptional in building a match-winning 119-run partnership for the fourth wicket with Krunal Pandya, who remained unbeaten on 73 off 47 balls. The duo’s partnership came off just 84 balls and turned the tide of the match firmly in RCB’s favour.
Though Kohli was dismissed in the 18th over, his work was already done. Tim David then finished the job with a blistering cameo, scoring 19* off just 5 balls to take RCB to 163/4 in 18.3 overs.
With this win, RCB recorded their sixth consecutive away victory and climbed to the top of the IPL 2025 points table.
