Actor Sonal Chauhan, best known for her role in film Jannat alongside Emraan Hashmi, recently made a rare public appearance at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium during the IPL clash between MI and CSK. 

However, it was not just her appearance at the stadium that made headlines her remarks about Virat Kohli’s spiritual transformation and the powerful influence of his wife Anushka Sharma have caught attention across social media.

In a candid interview with Filmygyan, Sonal opened up about how Anushka Sharma transformed Kohli's recent spiritual awakening. Virat Kohli in his early days was always known for his fiery temper on the field. But the star player has undergone a visible transformation in recent times, embracing spirituality and a more grounded way of life.

In an interview with Filmygyan, Sonal was asked what she would tell Virat Kohli if she suddenly bumped into him. 

The actor responded, “I would say, Jai Shri Ram and Har Har Mahadev, since he's right now being very religious. I've seen a lot of his reels where he's exploring that spiritual side of his.”

Sonal also reflected on Kohli’s earlier admissions where he mentioned that he was once far from being spiritual. 

She added, “I think it's the right woman. The right woman in his life is definitely bringing out the spiritual side in him. When you're surrounded with the right people, positive people, it reflects on your personality. I think she's a calming effect in his life.”
