Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) by six wickets in their IPL 2025 match on Sunday (April 27) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Virat Kohli scored a steady 51 runs from 47 balls while chasing a target of 163 runs. He built a strong partnership of 119 runs for the fourth wicket with Krunal Pandya, who smashed an unbeaten 73 from 47 balls. Kohli hit four boundaries during his innings and played a big role in RCB's seventh win of the season.

After the match, a fun moment between Kohli and KL Rahul caught everyone's attention. In a video going viral online, Kohli is seen teasing Rahul by copying his famous 'This is my ground' celebration.

For those who don't know, after DC defeated RCB at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on April 10, Rahul had celebrated with that same gesture. That day, Rahul had played a brilliant knock of 93 runs from 53 balls and led his team to a big win, making the ‘This is my ground’ celebration very popular on social media.

But this time, tables turned. Kohli had the last laugh as RCB won in Delhi, and he playfully reminded Rahul about it!

Kohli Takes Top Spot in Orange Cap Race

Kohli's 51-run knock on Sunday also helped him become the leading run-scorer of IPL 2025. In 10 matches, he has scored 443 runs, including six half-centuries. Mumbai Indians star Suryakumar Yadav is close behind him with 427 runs from 10 games.

RCB Jumps to No. 1 in Points Table

Thanks to their win over Delhi Capitals, RCB now sits at the top of the IPL 2025 points table. They have collected 14 points from 10 matches. If they win just one of their remaining four matches, they will officially book a spot in the playoffs for the second year in a row.

RCB has been on a roll this season, winning six out of seven matches away from home, the most by any team in a single IPL season. Their latest victory against Delhi Capitals helped them maintain their unbeaten away record and showed why they are serious title contenders this year.
