KL Rahul and his wife Athiya Shetty organised 'Cricket For Charity' Auction to support Vipla Foundation in their noble cause of giving quality education to underprivileged children. Many big international players contributed their collectables for the auction, and now it has been revealed that Virat Kohli's jersey has been sold for 40 Lakhs.

A total of 1.93 Crore have been raised from the auction which speaks a lot about how cricketers can contribute to the benefit of the society if they keep their priorities right. Virat Kohli's gloves have also been sold for 28 Lakhs while Rohit Sharma's bat has gone for 24 Lakhs.

MS Dhoni's Bat Sold For 13 Lakhs

MS Dhoni, the former Indian and CSK skipper also contributed his bat in the auction and it went for 13 Lakhs. Rahul Dravid's bat on the other hand, went for 11 Lakhs and KL Rahul's jersey too went for the same price.

KL Rahul Brings Cricket Community Together For A Noble Cause

Among with these big players, other Indian cricketers like Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant, Sanju Samson have also joined hands with KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty for the noble cause. 

International stars like Jos Buttler, Quinton de Kock and Nicholas Pooran are also reportedly part of the initiative and KL Rahul and his wife have been garnering applause from all corners for their unique idea and humble effort to help the needy children in India.
