Stumps has been called on play on day 3 of the first Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh at the Rawalpindi Stadium. 

After play on day 3, Bangladesh are 316/5, with Mushfiqur Rahim and Litton Das stitching a 98-runs unbeaten stand. At the moment, The Tigers trail by 132 runs.

Meanwhile, a video has gone viral on the internet where the Rawalpindi crowd expressed their love for ex-skipper Babar Azam. Between one of the balls, the stump mic recorded the crowd chanting, 'Humara Kaptaan Kaisa Ho? Babar Azam Jaisa Ho'.

Babar Azam is going through a tough time with the bat, as he last registered a Test fifty in December 2022. Even in this match, Azam registered a silver duck. 

Babar Azam Ousted As Pakistan Skipper

Following a disappointing run in World Cup 2023, Babar decided to step down as Pakistan skipper from all formats. However, Shaheen Afridi failed to perform as the new skipper and was soon removed from his post and Babar was rehired to lead the Men in Green in white-ball formats.

However, Shan Masood continues to be Pakistan skipper in red-ball cricket and is searching for his first win. It is to be seen whether PCB would revert to Babar as Test captain if the series result does not go in their favour.
