This viral moment comes just days after Kohli announced he’s stepping away from Test cricket, a format where he made history with his performances and leadership. 

He hasn’t yet confirmed if he’s retiring from other formats too, but this clip has fans wondering if he's focusing more on personal peace and spiritual growth.

Virat Kohli Spotted Doing Jaap At Airport

In the clip, now viral on social media, Virat Kohli is seen stepping out of a car, holding a bag in one hand and a small device in the other. Fans with sharp eyes believe that the device is a “Jaap counting machine.” 

It’s a gadget used to count chants, prayers, or affirmations, often used during meditation or spiritual practices. The video has since been widely shared, with people reacting in different ways. While some praised Kohli for turning spiritual, others joked about the change in his lifestyle.

Kohli will soon be seen in action as RCB take on KKR on May 17 at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The IPL 2025 season will officially resume after a one-week suspension triggered due to border tensions between India and Pakistan.
