On Thursday, January 2, the BCCI released a video of team India's recent visit to Australia's PM Anthony Albanese at Kirribilli House ahead of the Sydney Test that starts on January 3. The players met the PM and celebrated the New Year along with the Australian team.
Meanwhile, a picture has been going viral on the internet featuring Virat Kohli and Australia's 19-year-old sensation Sam Konstas. Notably, in the photo, Virat and Konstas were seen sharing a hug and also posed for pictures.
Kohli Greets Konstas
This comes after Virat Kohli was in the news on day 1 of the fourth Test for shouldering Konstas after the Thunder batter whacked Indian bowlers, including Jasprit Bumrah for runs across the park. The incident was criticised across the world and even Kohli was fined 20% of his match fees.
The incident further grew after Konstas saw the lighter side of it and poked fun by making shoulder gestures towards the crowd during the match. Nonetheless, the incident now has been buried, as Virat shared a hug with Konstas and both players were seen smiling.
Not just Konstas, but Virat also clicked pictures with Konstas' brothers, who were also present at the PM residence.
Sam Konstas Caught With Sneakers At PM's Residence
During the latest visit to PM's residence, Sam Konstas was captured wearing sneakers, which became a talk of the town on the social media platforms. Further, PM himself was in a light mood as he talked about Jasprit Bumrah.
During the meet, the PM joked that the country should pass a law that Bumrah should bowl with his left-arm against Australia.
