In a fun bonding session amid a hectic IPL 2024 season schedule, Australian batter Steve Smith turned a chef for his fellow commentary panel colleague and former England fast bowler Stuart Broad.

The IPL 2024 season commentary panel has been extended this year, and the inclusion of active cricketers has been fairly welcomed.

After getting unsold in auctions, Australian great Steve Smith embraced the role of a commentator in the ongoing edition of IPL.

To accompany him, recently retired England fast bowler Stuart Broad also accepted an invitation to be a part of the commentary panel.

Meanwhile, amid a hectic schedule, the duo found some time together to chill and bond over a fun cooking session.

In a playful Instagram story, Broad affectionately referred to Smith as "Chef Smith," hinting at the Australian batsman's culinary skills.

The Instagram story, which featured a candid snapshot of Smith donning an apron and standing in front of a stove, captured a side of the cricketer not often seen on the field.

With a mischievous smile on his face, Smith appeared to be fully immersed in his role as chef, perhaps preparing a meal for himself or his fellow commentary panel colleagues.

Stuart Broad and Steve Smith, both seasoned veterans of the game, have shared many memorable moments on the cricket field over the years, often as opponents in high-stakes matches between England and Australia.

However, off the field, they are part of a larger cricketing fraternity that values camaraderie, friendship, and mutual respect.

That said, while Broad closed the curtains on his prolific Test career after the recent Ashes series, Smith replaced David Warner as Australia's Test opener to embark on a fresh journey.
