Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has resolved the long-standing conflict with Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) regarding ticket shares. With the peace agreement now in place, Sunrisers will continue playing their home matches at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad.

Speculation had grown about a possible shift of the home venue following SRH accusing HCA of unfairly pressuring and blackmailing them over free passes.

A letter from SRH to HCA Secretary R. Devraj outlined issues, especially regarding the cut in seating capacity in the F12A corporate box and extra ticket requests.

SRH To Continue Playing In Hyderabad After Peace With HCA

However, following a crucial meeting on April 1, SRH officials Kiran, Saravanan, and Rohit Suresh reached an agreement with HCA representatives. According to reports, a peace treaty has been signed between the two parties and the cricket board has promised to adhere to BCCI’s principles over tickets and pass sharing.

While Kavya Maran has yet to make a public statement on the matter, SRH's management confirmed that all issues have been settled. With this news, SRH supporters will now be able to enjoy the game on the field, as the team prepares for its next encounter with Gujarat Titans on April 6.

So far this year, SRH has won 1 match and lost 2, which led to a dip to the 8th place on the points table with 2 points and negative net run rate.

Pat Cummins Instills Aussie Mentality Into SRH

SRH skipper Pat Cummins has brought an aggressive mentality into his team as they gear up to play KKR on April 3 in the IPL 2025. Hyderabad won their inaugural match against RR by a 44-run margin, but successive losses to Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals stalled their run.

Regardless, Cummins dismissed any notion of playing it safe and urged his squad to stay true to their aggressive brand of cricket. He said that while other teams go for a safe total of 200 runs, SRH must aim for 300 runs to win games.
