Punjab Kings’ spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was fired up after dismissing Lucknow Super Giants’ key batter Nicholas Pooran in the 13th match of IPL 2025 at the Ekana Stadium on Tuesday, April 1. His excitement was so intense that he was caught on camera abusing after taking Pooran’s wicket.

Yuzi Chahal Breaks Pooran’s Momentum

Nicholas Pooran was in great form and looked set to score his third consecutive fifty. However, in the 12th over, Chahal struck and got his first wicket of the season, stopping Pooran just six runs short of his half-century.

On the third ball of the over, Chahal bowled a tossed-up googly outside the off stump. Pooran tried to go big over the long-off boundary but didn’t get enough distance. The ball went high in the air, and Glenn Maxwell took a well-judged catch near the boundary.

LSG Looking To Build Big Score Against PBKS

With this wicket, LSG were struggling at 89-4 against Shreyas Iyer and co. However, young star' s Ayush Badoni and Abdul Samad started rebuilding the innings. At the time of writing, LSG are at 151 for 5 in 17.4 overs, looking to finish strong.
