India face a stern test when they collide against Sri Lanka in the 3rd and the final ODI of the series on Wednesday. The Men in Blue trail in the series, and will be looking to bounce back when they encounter the home team at the R Premadasa Stadium.

For India, the batting unit has disappointed in both the games. Barring Rohit Sharma, who has struck back-to-back fifties, the others have failed to deliver the goods. The batting, especially the middle-order needs to step up, if India are to level the series.

Gill gets batting tips from RO-KO

Ahead of the series decider, Team India had an intense practice session, which was attended by all the players. In a YouTube Video of senior journalist, Vimal Kumar, Shubman Gill, the opening batter could be seen having a discussion with both Rohit and Virat Kohli.

Gill, who had a poor outing in the first two matches will be looking to get some runs under his belt. The pep talk from Kohli and Rohit will surely help him ease the nerves.

Talking about the series, the first ODI between the two teams ended in a tie, after a masterclass of bowling from Charith Asalanka. In the next match, Sri Lanka shocked the visitors and defeated them by 32 runs.
