In preparation for the upcoming two-match Test series against Bangladesh, starting August 21, Pakistan men's team assistant coach Azhar Mahmood has been intensively coaching fast bowler Shaheen Afridi during practice sessions.

The Pakistan cricket team assembled in Rawalpindi earlier this week, focusing on rigorous training ahead of the series-opener at the Pindi Cricket Stadium from August 21 to August 25.

In a recent video, the former Pakistan all-rounder's dedication to refining Afridi’s skills was evident as he put the fast bowler through intense sprinting drills.

Mahmood, who has previously served as the team’s bowling coach, is now leading as the team assistant coach of the men’s national team. His expertise is seen as a valuable asset in preparing Pakistan's bowlers for the challenge ahead.

The second Test of the series will be held from August 30 to September 3 in Karachi.
