In a new revelation, Pakistan has faced a major setback ahead of their Test series against Bangladesh, slated to begin on August 21st. Aamir Jamal, a right-arm fast bowler, has been released from Pakistan's Test squad.

As per the latest updates, Aamir, who had initially been included in the squad pending a fitness clearance, has now been advised to focus on his recovery at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore, and he has been released from the squad.

The 27-year-old pacer suffered a back injury while playing county cricket earlier this year and is currently recovering from it.

The Pakistan Cricket Board's decision to prioritize Aamir's long-term health is a testament to their commitment to their players' well-being.

Meanwhile, the second Test has been shifted to Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium due to the construction work that was scheduled to take place at Karachi. This change ensures a better playing environment for the teams and also ensures that the spectators can watch the game at the stadium.
