Pakistan's premier speedster Shaheen Afridi is on the verge of a huge bowling milestone. Known for his ability to make the new ball talk, Shaheen needs only nine more wickets to become the first bowler from Pakistan to claim 100 wickets in ICC World Test Championship.

Can Shaheen script history in PAK vs BAN 1st Test?

Shaheen has played 24 Test matches across two WTC cycles. In 41 innings, the left-arm pacer has scalped 91 wickets at an average of 27.23 and a strike rate of 53.1.

He is Pakistan's most successful bowler in WTC history, having added three fifers and one ten-fer to his illustrious tally.

He is followed by Naseem Shah on the list, as the right-arm seamer has 51 wickets under his belt.

Thus, the fact that Shaheen has 40 wickets more than the second-best signifies his bowling prowess in the prestigious competition.
