Krishnamurthy Siddharth is one of the most consistent batters in Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 League and has started the 2024 season with a bang as well. He is playing for Mangaluru Dragons and the wicketkeeper batter coming in at number 4 smashed 44 off 27 balls. 

He hit three fours and three sixes in his knock and one of those sixes was a magnificent hit over deep extra cover against Shreesha Achar. It was the tenth over of the match and Achar, the left-arm spinner bowled a tossed up delivery around leg. Siddharth made room and played a wonderful inside-out lofted drive that went deep into the stands in the extra-cover region.

Mangaluru Dragons In Strong Position

The right-handed batter looked set for a big score, but Achar got his revenge on the final delivery of the 13th over with a big wicket courtesy a false reverse-scoop. After his wicket, rain also halted the proceedings for sometime and at the end of 15 overs, Mangaluru Dragons were in a strong position at 138-4. 

It would be interesting to see how things pan out as Hubli Tigers too have quality in their arsenal with Manish Pandey leading the pack.
