Rohit Sharma Reaches Kanpur With Gill, KL Rahul Ahead Of Second Test Against Bangladesh - Watch

The final Test of the two-match Test series between India and Bangladesh is all set to start to start on the 27th of September at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. After a emphatic win in the first Test, Indian players did not directly travel to Kanpur, but some of them were seen going to their hometown. Now, after enjoying a couple of day's break, they have started assembling again and now PTI has unleashed a clip where captain Rohit Sharma is seen getting out of Kanpur Airport with Shubman Gill, KL Rahul and Assistant coach Abhishek Nayar.

In the video, players are seen surrounded by security guards and fans with one of the fan cheering for Rohit and telling him to make it 2-0 in Kanpur. Earlier, Virat Kohli, Gambhir and Rishabh Pant also seen departing for Kanpur from Delhi and India might start the training for the second Test from Wednesday, 25th of September.

Focus On Rohit-Virat In Kanpur Test

India won the first Test match by a huge margin of 280 runs in Chennai with the local boy, Ravichandran Ashwin delivering all-round performance. Ashwin first smashed a century on the opening day of the Test when India were under the pump, and then grabbed a six-fer in the second innings to bowl out Bangladesh for just 234. Apart from Ashwin, the likes of Jadeja, Bumrah, Gill and Pant also did well, but Indian fans would be hoping that the duo of Virat-Rohit fire in Kanpur.

Both the star batters failed to make an impact in the two innings, and with big series against New Zealand and Australia coming up, they would be itching to make an impact in the longest format against Bangladesh in what is expected to be a slow and low pitch at Kanpur.
