India's Historic Victory In T20 World Cup 2024

On June 29, 2024, India secured the T20 World Cup after an 11-year hiatus that marked a highly anticipated and thrilling achievement.

Under the astute captaincy of Rohit Sharma, Team India displayed exceptional performance throughout the tournament, which culminated in an intense final against South Africa.

The final proved to be a tightly contested match, with India narrowly defeating South Africa by seven runs.

India, batting first, set a challenging target of 177 runs, buoyed by Virat Kohli's impressive 76 and Axar Patel’s vital 47.

Despite Heinrich Klaasen's valiant 52, South Africa fell short, as India's bowlers, spearheaded by Hardik Pandya and supported by Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, and Axar Patel, secured the victory through disciplined and focused bowling.
