Team India skipper Rohit Sharma is under great pressure ahead of the third Test against England in Rajkot, starting Thursday (February 12).

With multiple key players missing and his personal form not the greatest, the experienced opener has the responsibility of keeping the momentum with the in-transition Indian side.

Having bounced back in the five-match Test series with a comprehensive victory in Visakhapatnam after facing defeat in Hyderabad, it is up to Rohit to recollect his troops following a nine-day break and inspire them to perform in the middle against the confident tourists.

Given the influx of young, inexperienced players around him, it is key to India's chances that their captain leads from the front and eases the nerves inside the dressing room. Rohit has faced the flak for four consecutive failures in the series and needs a substantial score in the Rajkot Test.

Amidst the pressure and the scrutiny, however, Rohit was given the chance to relax by the logistic authorities and hotel staff as the skipper was given keys to the suite of a Royal Heritage theme, which is the Presidential suite.

According to a report in India Today, Rohit has been given the presidential suite to relax and recharge his batteries after coming back from the on-field action. Hotel director Urvesh Purohit also revealed that a Gujarati and Kathiawadi menu has been finalised for the Indian players during their stay for the Test match.

Rohit has been in underwhelming touch in the middle this Test series, making scores of just 24, 39, 14 and 13 in his previous four innings. The skipper also faced extensive heat for his defensive fields in Hyderabad and Vizag in response to England's ultraggressive 'Bazball' tactics.
