KL Rahul's injury setback has paved the way for a newcomer to make his mark in the Indian cricketing arena. With Rahul sidelined due to ongoing fitness concerns, the door swings open for fresh talent to step onto the grand stage of international Test cricket.

Left-arm leg-spinner Kuldeep Yadav expressed his views ahead of the crucial third Test against England, highlighting the opportunity that awaits an aspiring cricketer.

Here's what Kuldeep Yadav said:

KL Rahul is not available so it’s a chance for a newcomer.

As Rahul continues his rehabilitation journey at the National Cricket Academy, the selectors have turned to Devdutt Padikkal, a promising left-handed batter from Karnataka, to fill the void temporarily.

As the Indian squad prepares to take on England in the third Test, scheduled to commence on February 15th, the absence of a key player like Rahul undoubtedly poses challenges. However, it also presents an invaluable opportunity for the newcomers to showcase their mettle and contribute to the team's success.

India's updated squad for the third Test vs England:

Rohit Sharma (Captain), Jasprit Bumrah (Vice-captain), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Rajat Patidar, Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel (Wicketkeeper), KS Bharat (Wicketkeeper), R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja (Subject to fitness), Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohd. Siraj, Mukesh Kumar, Akash Deep, Devdutt Padikkal.
