The stakes are high as India and Australia are destined to meet for the crucial fourth Test, the Boxing Day Test, at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne in only a few days. Both the teams have managed to keep things tight as the series is levelled at 1-1 after three Tests. However, this has only made things much more challenging for India, who now must win the upcoming two Tests to qualify for the World Test Championship Final without depending on other teams.

India, who before the Australian tour faced a forgetful and crushing whitewash at home to New Zealand, has a weak link and it's their batting line-up. Despite boasting strong players in their team like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, and Shubman Gill, all the players have looked significantly underprepared and faltered time and again, as a result of which the team has failed to put up good totals on the board.

In a video spreading on the internet like wildfire, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, who has had quite a torrid time while batting, is seen getting dismissed by part-time bowler, Devdutt Padikkal. At the same time, this could mean that the 37-year-old opener, who selflessly gave up his opening spot to KL Rahul and demoted himself to No.6, could be getting all the bad luck out of the way before the all-important clash.

Rohit Sharma Seen In Nets

In the video, Padikkal bowled an off-break to the skipper who got beaten by the low bounce as he failed to get a bat on it. However, fans on the internet are divided as they react to his unexpected dismissal in the nets.

With so much criticism surrounding the Indian cricket team, fans and viewers eagerly await to see how the upcoming Boxing Day Test starting from December 26 onwards proceeds. A big task lies ahead of the 'last bunch of OGs' when they meet the Aussies on Thursday.
