When the ODIs against South Africa kicked-off, not many gave Pakistan a chance to win the series, however, the Mohammad Rizwan led side did the unthinkable and attained a feat which not even the Indian side has managed to achieve.

They became the first team in history to inflict South Africa an ODI whitewash at home, as the team defeated them 3-0 to seal the series with utmost ease. On Sunday, they came into the third ODI with an unassailable 2-0 lead as history was right in front of them to achieve, and they did exactly that.

Saim Ayub's second ton of the series propels Pakistan to 308

Saim Ayub, the next superstar of Pakistan cricket was at his imperial best after not scoring much in the last ODI. He already had a ton under his name in the series and on a tricky Wanderers surface, the aggressive batter showcased his class once again.

He was at his aggressive best as the southpaw slammed 101 off 94 deliveries and steered his side to a strong total. Apart from Saim, fifties from the ever-reliant, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan helped the Pakistan side's run-flow.

It is fair to say that the Proteas were never really in the contest as they lost wickets at regular intervals. Once again it was Heinrich Klaasen, who stood tall as he saw wickets tumble at the other end.

The South African batter slammed his third successive fifty of the tour and this was the best of the lot as he hammered 81 off 43 deliveries and was the lone warrior as his side git bundled out for 271 and thus, Pakistan etched their names in the history books by defeating the home side, 3-0.
