Indian stars Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have reached Sri Lanka ahead of the three-match ODI series starting on August 2 at the R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. In addition to these, other Indian cricketers, such as KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Kuldeep Yadav, and Harshit Rana, have also reached the Island nation.

Virat Kohli Reaches Colombo Ahead Of SL ODI Series:

As reported by Cricbuzz, a net session is slated to take place on Monday, where all the players will be present. Interestingly, that training session would be overlooked by Gautam Gambhir's assistant coach, Abhishek Nayar, who left for Colombo after the second T20I on Sunday night.

The other members will join the team on Thursday after the 3rd T20I concludes. Suryakumar Yadav, who succeeded Rohit Sharma as India's next T20I skipper, will look to sweep the series clean.

The Gautam Gambhir era started with a bang after India's thumping 43-run win followed by their 2nd T20I win; the Men In Blue would look to continue the winning momentum.

Meanwhile, it is expected that Morne Morkel will join Team India in the upcoming home series against Bangladesh in September.
