In what comes as a shocking news, India's vice-captain Shubman Gill is likely to miss the India versus Sri Lanka 3rd T20I. As per the reports, it has been said that a call will be taken on whether or not Gill will be a part of the game.

The Indian opener, was dropped by Suryakumar Yadav from the 2nd T20I game due to a neck spasm. In his place wicket-keeper batter, Sanju Samson was included in the Playing XI. However, in the first game he scored 34 runs off 16 balls.

The upcoming game is dead rubber as India have already won the T20I series against Sri Lanka by winning two out of three games.

Meanwhile, Team India is gearing up for the ODI leg, with star cricketers Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shreyas Iyer, and Kuldeep Yadav, who have all arrived in Sri Lanka.

A training session in Colombo has been scheduled for Monday evening with assistant coach Abhishek Nayar.

While the Men In Blue will play their final T20I game on July 30, Rohit Sharma will captain the ODI series starting on August 2.
