“Australia is a beautiful country to travel, but a tough place to tour. Probably one of the toughest tours for any sportsman. Crowds have been absolutely amazing. We have got another Test match to go. Hopefully, we can entertain the crowd the way we entertained over the last four Test matches. Finally, thank you very much for hosting us again. Happy New Year.” Gambhir said.

Big Burden On Team India’s Shoulder

In recent times, Team India has been facing a tough time in the longest format of cricket. In the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy, their struggle has become tougher. After winning the first Test, they faced consecutive setbacks and currently falling behind in the series by a 2-1 margin. After facing a defeat in the Adelaide Test, Team India is still looking for their second win in this series.

The fragility of the batting order became glaringly evident, with the top order struggling and failing to fire in nearly every match. After smashing a century in Perth, Kohli’s bat remained silent. Rohit Sharma’s form is scarring the side. After losing the Melbourne Test, the Indian side is almost out of the WTC final race. As the Sydney Test looms soon, the visitors will try hard to end the series at least on a draw.
