Pant gets clearance from NCA to play IPL 2024
The Indian wicket-keeper batter, Rishabh Pant, has been seen in a different avatar ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season, as he was seen donning the turban and a Punjabi look.
It is worth mentioning that Rishabh Pant has been granted clearance from the NCA to return to competitive cricket, which suggests that he will participate in the IPL 2024 season as a wicket-keeper batter.
Notably, Rishabh Pant experienced a serious injury on New Year's Eve of 2023, which kept him away from cricket ever since. Despite not playing, he has remained visible by attending matches, and featuring in advertisements.
He was spotted rooting for Delhi Capitals from the stands at the Arun Jaitley Stadium during the 2023 Indian Premier League season. He kept fans updated on his fitness progress all year and is gearing up for his comeback to competitive cricket.
Sporting a Punjabi avatar in a recent appearance, he's seen donning a Kurta and exuding style. It's reported he's on set shooting an advertisement. He shared snaps on Instagram, sporting a blue Kurta with the caption "keep smiling.”
Rishabh Pant's return to fitness will be a huge boost for Delhi Capitals as well, as they struggled to settle on a wicketkeeper during the 2023 season and finished the season at the second-last spot. The Delhi Capitals will kick off their tournament campaign against Punjab Kings on March 23.
