One of the most ferocious strikers of the ball, India's Rinku Singh, will be turning up for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 edition, for which the player has already started his preparation.

On Monday, during a KKR pre-season camp in Mumbai, an unwanted incident happened where a young cricketer got hit by a Singh-slammed six during a net session, which thankfully ended with smiles all around.

As shared by KKR on X, the clip witnessed Singh interact with the teen cricketer, asking about his well-being and also gifting his signed franchise hat as an apology. KKR assistant coach Abhishek Nayar could also be seen having a chat with the upcoming cricketer, who hit on the forehead by Singh's massive six.

Singh gained fame after his heroics in the IPL 2023, where the batter slammed 356 runs, which included five sixes in an over against Gujarat Titans, that propelled the player into superstardom.

The 26-year-old soon found himself in the Indian colours, playing against Ireland and then featuring in Asian Games last year, where the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led XI won gold. Singh showcased his exploits brilliantly against South Africa and Afghanistan, which almost cemented the left-hander's place in India's T20I squad.

In 15 T20Is, Singh has slammed 356 runs with two fifties to his name. An impressive IPL 2024 could see the Uttar Pradesh star get selected for India's T20 World Cup 2024 squad as well.

KKR kickstart their 2024 campaign against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on March 23 at Kolkata.
