Pant Rises in ICC Test Rankings
While remembering his coach, Pant is also celebrating a new career high. After a string of excellent performances in the recent Test series against New Zealand, he’s climbed up the ICC Batter’s Test rankings.
He led the series with 261 runs over three matches, averaging 43.50 with a strike rate of 89.38. His performances included a near-century with 99 in Bengaluru and half-centuries of 60 and 64 in Mumbai.
