Yash Dayal, the fast bowler for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and a recent IPL 2025 winner, is facing serious legal trouble again. A second rape case has now been filed against him, this time in Jaipur, involving a minor girl.

According to a report accessed by NDTV, an FIR was filed at Sanganer Police Station in Jaipur. The complaint says that Dayal sexually abused a 17-year-old girl over a period of two years, after emotionally blackmailing her with promises of helping her start a cricket career.

The girl told police that the first incident happened in a hotel in Sitapura, when she was still a minor. Because of her age, the case falls under the POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences), which is a very serious law in India meant to protect children from abuse.

Previous Sexual Assault From Ghaziabad

This isn’t the first time Yash Dayal has been accused of such crimes. A few weeks earlier, a woman from Ghaziabad also accused him of sexual exploitation under the false promise of marriage. The two reportedly met about five years ago, and the woman says Dayal kept delaying marriage, while continuing a relationship with her.

That case was registered at the Indirapuram police station under Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which deals with deceitful sexual relationships. The woman said Dayal introduced her to his family and pretended they were married, but later turned violent when questioned about marriage.

In response to the Ghaziabad case, Dayal filed a petition saying the woman was trying to blackmail him. He claimed their connection started on Instagram, remained friendly, and that she later forced him into agreeing to marriage. He denies all the allegations.

On July 15, 2025, the Allahabad High Court granted a temporary stay on his arrest in the Ghaziabad case. The court asked the police and the woman to present more information before making a final decision. Until then, no action will be taken against Dayal in that case.
