India’s veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja scripted a new record during the 1st ODI between India and England held in Nagpur. He surpassed James Anderson to become the leading wicket-taker in India-England ODI history, scalping 42 wickets.

Team India hosted England in the 1st ODI of the 3-game series at Nagpur on February 6. England suffered a four-wicket defeat after failing to defend 248 runs. Virat Kohli likely to return for 2nd ODI

Virat Kohli was left out of the playing XI during the 1st ODI between India and England due to a niggle in his right knee. According to reports, Kohli developed swelling in his knee overnight and the management advised him to rest. Moreover, since the injury is not bad enough, the superstar cricketer is likely to be available for selection in the second ODI scheduled at Cuttack on February 9.
