Rashid's spell of 4-0-19-3 surpassed the previous record held by Nawroz Mangal for over a decade. Mangal's record of 4-0-23-3, set in 2010, was finally eclipsed by Rashid's exceptional bowling prowess.

Despite Rashid Khan's extraordinary efforts with the ball, Afghanistan faced a disappointing defeat against Ireland, falling short by 38 runs and trailing 0-1 in the series. The Afghan team, captained by Rashid, was bowled out for 111 runs in 18.4 overs. While Rashid's bowling performance was exemplary, his team's inability to chase down the target meant his efforts ultimately went in vain.

Nevertheless, Rashid Khan's record-breaking achievements highlight his stature as a formidable leader and bowler in the world of cricket. His record-breaking feat serves as a testament to his talent and dedication to the sport.
