Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have ingeniously introduced their latest addition, West Indies pace sensation Shamar Joseph, to the squad via social media. Their quirky approach draws a cheeky parallel to India's triumphant Gabba victory in Brisbane during the 2020-21 tour, playfully poking fun at Australia.

Joseph, instrumental in West Indies' historic triumph over Australia at the same venue earlier this year, showcased his prowess with an impressive seven-wicket haul despite nursing an injury.

Although sidelined due to injury post-test, Joseph appears fully recovered and ready to make his mark in IPL 2024, joining LSG just ahead of the season kick-off. LSG's witty social media welcome features a video where Joseph humorously responds with "Toota hai Gabba ka ghamand" when asked for the Wi-Fi password, invoking memories of India's monumental Gabba victory.

Under the leadership of KL Rahul, LSG boasts a formidable lineup of T20 specialists, sparking anticipation over their potential to clinch the coveted trophy.

With their IPL campaign commencing against Rajasthan Royals on March 24th, all eyes are on the Super Giants as they aim to surpass previous performances and secure a triumphant season.
